SUMMARY:American Indian Month Kick-Off Parade 2025
DESCRIPTION:Join us for the kickoff parade for American Indian Month on 
 May 1st! The community will gather at 9 am at Cedar Field Park at Little
  Earth (2500 Cedar Ave.\, Minneapolis). The parade will begin at 10 am a
 nd will end at the Minneapolis American Indian Center (1530 E. Franklin 
 Ave). The community is invited to the Indian Health Board (2020 Minnehah
 a Ave.\, Minneapolis) for a ceremonial groundbreaking of their newest cl
 inic on the Menaandawiwe Wellness campus for a celebration\, round dance
 \, lunch and performances until 2:30 pm. The Minneapolis American Indian
  Center (1530 E. Franklin Ave) will be hosting a Pow Wow from 3 - 7 pm.\
 n\nAbout:For more than 50 years in Minnesota\, our Native community has 
 celebrated and recognized American Indian Month throughout May\, with a 
 kick-off parade on May 1st\, events\, activities\, and open houses to ho
 nor the heritage and contributions of American Indian people.\nThis year
