Describe yourself in one sentence.

A textbook Sagittarius and ritual overthinker.

What is one thing in your professional history that you are proud of?

I am very proud of my time at NACDI working in Indigenous food sovereignty. I’ve learned so much and feel incredibly honored to do the work I get to do here. And I feel grateful they trust me to do so!

What is something you are working on outside of NACDI that you are excited about?

I’ve been translating picture books I like from our Little Free Library at PowWow Grounds into Hoocąk, and then creating questions in the language that parents can ask their little imminent speakers. It is one of the most rewarding projects I’ve ever started.

What would you like your legacy to be?

To be remembered as a friend to many.

Which talent would you most like to have?

To be able to track, trap, and use the entirety of an animal down to its bones. #oldwayz

If you could choose one song to play every time you walked into a room, what would you choose and why?

Everybody Loves The Sunshine by Roy Ayers Ubiquity. I don’t trust folks who dislike synths, so hopefully they’ll all leave immediately.
