Jolene Jones has been the lead organizer for NACDI’s Make Voting A Tradition for nine years. She is a lifelong resident of Little Earth of United Tribes. She has been involved in empowering her community since her teenage years. She went back to college at 50 to better understand the drug epidemic facing the Native Community and received her BA in Addiction and Prevention. Early in the opioid crisis she engaged trainers and trained her community in Narcan. She has helped create programs for our children to rise above and learn a better way to eat, work, garden, and be healthy.
