Dream of Wild Health
Dream of Wild Health
Dream of Wild Health (DWH) began in 1998 as a small garden program with a powerful vision to recover and preserve the sacred relationship between Native people and the land. Today, DWH has grown into a vibrant 30-acre farm in Hugo, and an urban office in Minneapolis, MN. The mission of Dream of Wild Health is to restore health and well-being in the Native community by recovering knowledge of and access to healthy Indigenous foods, medicines, and lifeways. This is done through culturally-grounded youth programming, farm-based production and Indigenous food distribution, community outreach and network leadership initiatives.
