
Cedar Field Park Community Feedback Gathering
Join us for the rescheduled Community Feedback Gathering & Presentation by John Koepke on Monday, June 2nd from 5 – 7 pm at the Little Earth Residence Association Gym (2501 Cedar Ave, Minneapolis, MN 55404).
John Koepke, an Ojibwe Landscape Architect with Urban Ecosystems Landscape Architects, will be presenting on the topic of “Empowering Community through Visibility of Indigenous Culture at Cedar Field Park”. John will share how each element of the park design integrates Indigenous art, plantings, materiality, and culture for the Cedar Ave Field Park Draft Design.
Bear Runner Drum Group will be opening this gathering. Food will be catered by Muck-wa. The community will be asked to share their opinions and feedback on the drafted final design. All are welcome!
NACDI is partnering with the Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board for the community engagement work for the East Phillips Open Spaces Plan.
