Join us for the kickoff parade for American Indian Month on May 1st! The community will gather at 9 am at Cedar Field Park at Little Earth (2500 Cedar Ave., Minneapolis). The parade will begin at 10 am and will end at the Indian Health Board (2020 Minnehaha Ave., Minneapolis) for lunch and concert until 2:30 pm. The Minneapolis American Indian Center (1530 E. Franklin Ave) will be hosting a Pow Wow from 3 – 7 pm.

This year’s parade theme is “Strong Like Our Ancestors” created by the Minneapolis Public Schools American Indian Youth Council ~ Ogichida Oyate.
