Crime Prevention is a unit within the police department. We are civilian staff who focus on public education to help people learn how to protect themselves (their bodies and their things) from being victims of crime. We help blocks organize block clubs, hold personal safety workshops, home security workshops, and conduct security checks at all kinds of private property— residential and multi family housing, business, houses of worship.
