Indigenous Food Network (IFN) “Summer Camp”
Indigenous Food Network members NACDI and Dream of Wild Health will be hosting four weekly plant lessons at the Four Sisters Urban farm starting Friday August 4th. Lessons are from 10 AM to 12 PM and are based on Indigenous teachings about the natural world, and followed by lunch.
Geared toward Indigenous youth and families, the curriculum will be taught by Dahkota teacher Justis Brokenrope and is accessible to all ages and tribal (and non-tribal) affiliations. Children under 8 years old must be accompanied by an adult. There is no cost to participate, though registration is required.
